WHY LONGEVITY IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF SUSTAINABILITY 🌱⏳

When we talk about longevity, we immediately think of living a long life. But the real question is: how do we live this time? It's not enough to add years to life—we must add life to those years.
And this is where personal sustainability comes into play. Not just environmental sustainability, which is (rightly) widely discussed, but the kind that concerns our health, our energy, our inner resources.
Think about it: the word sustainability comes from the Latin sustinere, which means "to hold, to maintain, to support." And what could be more sustainable than learning to take care of ourselves in a way that we can maintain over time? An extreme diet is not sustainable. A job that burns us out is not sustainable. A life lived without listening to ourselves is not sustainable.
From this reflection comes the SustainAbility500 project and, with it, the Longevity500 journey: a series of events that combine science, well-being, and awareness to help us live better—not just longer.
In the first event, we introduced the three pillars of longevity:
🔬 Metabolism & Genetics – how to support the body's energy engine and understand that our genes are not a fixed destiny.
🥦 Nutrition & Supplementation – how to choose what truly nourishes our cells.
💧 Water & Sustainability – because staying well hydrated means health for us and respect for the environment.
Starting in September, we will explore these pillars through a series of three meetings, each with a dual focus: one health topic and one financial topic 💡. Two aspects that go hand in hand, because we can’t talk about longevity if we neglect economic peace of mind and the freedom to choose how we live.

Our goal is not to make grand proclamations, but to create an open community where small daily actions, simple ideas, and concrete collaborations form the basis for a healthier and more balanced future.
Because longevity is not a distant goal: it's a path we build today, step by step. Sustainable living means living well—inside and out. 🌍💚
See you soon
