ORIZZONTI SELVAGGI (wild horizons)

Orizzonti Selvaggi was born from the desire of two young people raised in Sardinia to tell the island’s authentic soul through images and narratives capable of enhancing local identities, activities, and realities that deserve to be known.

Our roots are here: in the wild nature, in millenary traditions, and in the small villages that guard unique stories. But our horizon goes beyond: experiences of study and life outside Sardinia and Italy have given us a broader, international outlook, able to connect local authenticity and global vision.

We are not a simple photography or videomaking project: we are a visual laboratory that combines technology, creativity, and respect for territories. Through photography, videomaking and graphic storytelling we transform every experience into a narrative that can inspire, move, and communicate.

Our work always starts from one clear principle: every place, event, or activity carries with it a soul, made of people, traditions, nature and unique details. Our task is to capture it and to return it in an authentic, immediate and universal way.

🌱 We believe in a different way of traveling and storytelling: deeper, more human and true. For this reason, our project is tied to the values of slow and sustainable tourism, in contrast to overtourism. We choose the opposite: we walk less trodden paths, explore uncontaminated lands, and return images that respect places and communities.

We do not want to portray a Sardinia where “everything is beautiful and cool”: we also want to show the real problems, those that people face every day. Our aim is to offer an objective and honest analysis, capable not only of documenting but also of suggesting possible solutions.

📸 We collaborate with brands, associations, hospitality structures, local businesses and event organizers who share our vision. Often we work alongside institutions, sports and cultural associations operating in Sardinia’s small centers, because we believe that right there are born the most authentic stories and the projects that really make a difference.

At the same time, our work does not stop here: we tell any kind of company or reality, inside or outside Sardinia, with the same authentic and respectful approach. Whether it is a small village of the island, an emerging brand in Italy or an international reality, our goal is always the same: to give voice to those who have a true story to share.

In particular, we commit to promoting also those traditional events that do not have the resonance of large tourist manifestations, but hold the truest soul of the territories: popular festivals, palii, religious rites and anniversaries that represent the deep identity of local communities.
